As the season is in its late stages (this is the 6th event of the seven-event series), the Classes and the Overall Championships are now getting tighter and tighter. Remembering that each racer has the option to throw one race out--of the seven races in the schedule, this and the last race of the Series become most important. We also recognize that and try to make the races and racecourses more challenging, exciting and rewarding.
This PURE "151" is our only truly all "Night Race" as we will start at exactly 8 p.m., with each vehicle leaving on 30-second intervals, on a trek that will take the race finishers well into the night.
“THE NIGHT TIME IS THE RIGHT TIME” will run under the Crystal-clear, starry summer night of the California City skies, and starting/finishing inside the Racing Ranch, Cal-City - Kern, Co., CA.
We have four tough laps stored for everyone. Since it's a night race, we will use reflective tape around the course, but it will still be a "Navigator’s" race because he/she must be keenly aware of the course and where the turns and slight course changes are located -- all the while, keeping his/her Driver on top of things and performing at maximum capabilities. This race, above all other will test the Driver's and Navigator's capabilities to the max.
We are laying out a course that totals 38.2 miles and in order to become an official finisher each car will have to complete four (4) laps.
However, if you finish less than the four laps you will still be scored and awarded your finishing points according to where you finished in the Overall and individual Class standings.
Get ready for a terrific race under the stars, because it's going to be a classic Monster into the Night event!

Note, there will be a RACE “RE-CON” again for this event. All racers who have entered the event, and are fully paid, will have the opportunity to come along with us to reconnoiter the racecourse before the start of the race. We plan to start the “RE-CON” at 11 a.m. We will run at normal speeds (not racing speeds), in order to make sure you see the entire course and make your own notes.
See you soon.
